Zoge Shala

Zoge Shala is the school Counselor/Psychologist and Teacher of Psychology/Sociology at American School of Kosovo. She has attended the University of Pristina where she studied History, later on to continue at the University of Tetovo in Macedonia from where she got her Master’s Degree in the field of Psychology. As a part of her long life learning process, she is currently adding Nursing as one of her specializations. For the past 13 years, she has worked with preschool, elementary, and high school students. Except for ASK, she has previously worked for about four years at the St. Nicholas School in Canterbury-England. In the meantime, she has also been a worker in different schools and kindergartens in Kosovo. She is very passionate about her work, and enjoys every day the support that she continuously provides to her students’ academic, social, and emotional life.

Shpresa Mushica Hana

Shpresa has a Bachelor Degree from Prishtina University in Pedagogy and a Master degree in Educational Management Administration & Leadership in AAB.
She lived in London for ten years where she attended Carlton College and Middlesex Itec College. She was also part of the Camden College of English Language.

She joined ASK in May 2003, as a Student Affairs Officer to continue with School Coordinator and lastly she has been trained as a College Guidance Counselor in the US. She has been part of all the changes that ASK went through and seen her grow and develop into the leading school that is now.

Participated in different professional development training such as the training of Critical Thinking in Reading and Writing designed and administered by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, attended College Board Summer Institute for Counselors, in New York, etc. She is also certified as a TOEFL / SAT instructor from American Advising Center.

Mirlinda Shehu

Mirlinda has a managerial and administrative responsibility in library; she is involved in the coordination of the students’ library operations and the customer community services.
Mirlinda, holds a University Degree and Master Degree of English Language and Linguistics, from State University of Tetova (North Macedonia).
Prior to her current role, she held various positions at European Agency for Reconstruction, EULEX, and Educational Institution, bringing a comprehensive knowledge of various departments to her current role.

Jeta Jusufi

Jeta Jusufi Xhelili has been working at American School of Kosova for 10 years as PreK- Grade 8 School Coordinator. Mrs. Jeta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Political Science. She has been a scholarship holder in Belgium for her Bachelor studies. Among numerous training in leadership and education, Jeta is a certified trainer of the 21st Century School project of British Council that provides training on Critical Thinking and Problem Solving for all primary schools in the Balkans. Her passion is developing positive relationships with everyone within the school community, working with students as they grow, supporting teachers and staff so that they can reach their greatest potential, strengthening a connection between school and home, among others. Mrs. Jeta believes that through education we can empower young people to change the world and make it a better place to live in.

Khin Chawsu Winmaung

As an Elementary Librarian, Khin provides a range of teaching and learning resources and e-resources that the students and teachers can have equal access to. She leads the digital transformation in education ay ASK, maintains close relationship with the school ICT team, liaises and collaborates with teaching staff and external agencies, among others. Khin earned her BS and MS in Computer Science from the University of Computer Studies, Yangon. Her favorite quote is, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.”
