Merita Ajdini

Merita Ajdini is the Elementary/Middle School Principal at the American School of Kosova. She has been an educator for 16 years. She was born, raised, and lived in Kosova until 1999. Then, she moved to the US until 2006. Merita holds a BA in Mathematics-Natural Science Section of Chemistry from the University of Prishtina, which is evaluated in the United States with the United States Standards, and also holds a Master's Degree in International Management. After a successful completion of the training “Critical Thinking in Reading and Writing”, Mrs. Merita was appointed as a trainer of the program for all pre-university education teachers of Kosova. She also is certified as a “SAT –MATH” program instructor. Two years ago she completed the PTC Training “Curriculum Leadership in the International School” at the Summer Institute in Miami. Merita has been married for 21 years, and has been blessed with two children Fjolla and Ardi. On her free time she loves traveling, reading, playing basketball and spending time with her beloved family.
