Gentiana Bicaj

Gentiana Bicaj has been working as an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher for more than six years now. She has joined the American School of Kosova in 2020, working with students from the 1st to the 5th grade. She has earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, as well as a Master’s in Philological Sciences, specifically English Linguistics. Her teaching philosophy focuses on students’ motivation, since she strongly believes that learning happens the most when students are intrinsically motivated. Hence, she strives to create engaging and authentic lessons, adequate for each student’s needs. Her teaching methodology is inspired by Alfred Mercier's quote: "What we learn with pleasure, we never forget".
