Learning Specialist
My name is Nora Hafizademi. I have had the honor to become the Learning Specialist this year at the American School of Kosovar Learning Specialist. I have recently returned from the USA after 25 years, where I worked for over 15 years in education in various fields. I am specialized in Special Education and working with students of various need and talents. I have acquired and obtained tremendous education, training work experience in the USA for many decades and have decided I would like to come and share this in my home land as well and be of assistance of my country’s national and international talented youth.
I have been blessed with two beautiful healthy daughters, Rina Maria and Ana Lisa who are the greatest blessing in my life. My daughters are ASK students and have loved being a part of the ASK family.
As our reputable school’s Learning Specialist my main priority is to deliver and support knowledge and experience of great diversity in learning. We as educators learn from our students on daily bases, therefore I am a firm believer the more I know about how my students learn, the more I can support a positive and successful school experience.
As the learning Support Specialist, some of the daily duties I provide are assisting our amazing staff and parents with necessary resource for us all as a team to support students, conducting classroom observations, creating, and practicing individual student accommodations and curriculum modifications based on the individual needs of each student, providing small group problem solving type work for students, regular conferencing with students, parents and or guardians, and all professionals involved in the personal educational plan of each and every one of our ASK students, assist in identifying and understand children’s unique profiles and work with teachers to address a variety of individual learning needs in the classroom, work directly with children to support their success with curricular activities or to address underlying learning needs. They focus on the child’s particular learning profile, always mindful of each child’s areas of strength and individual learning styles.
My greatest honor in life has been that as my own children are my sunrise and sunset, I have been given the honor and gift to work with other parent’s sunrise and sunset. There is no greater honor and reward than working with students and seeing them bloom in life and being a part of their preparation for their futures.
Kind regards,
Nora Hafizademi
